Wie Gehts!? Hallo von Deutschland!

I'm in stuttgart, germany, with J.U.I.C.E (rampartjuice.org)
15 of us came here to represent the L.A. Hip Hop and to mesh with the local hip hoppers out here. There's 3 bgirls, two bboys, and the rest are graff writers, mcs, and djs.

we're staying at a bunch of these people's houses, I'm staying with my friend Forty, who Is part of the Asassins crew, I met him a couple times in LA with Gio. HE's really close w/ gio, and batabro, and some other la heads. he seems to everyone. in the dance scene ortoo.



Reuven, aka Forty, lives a little south of right smack in the middle of the city, on Mittel strasse, suburbia. it's a 10 minute walk from down town, Konig strasse, which is like the street where all the trendy stores are. Its' a bigger 3rd street promenande type thing.

I'm pretty jet lagged. I haven't really slept a good night, but somehow i manage to get this second wind everynight when i get home to write to gio, or write, or play w/ my laptop, and watch footage from the day.



today we did street shows on Konigstrasse (means king's street). there were soo many people, but germans seem very conservative, and uptight, some people were into it, the kids, etc... the racial diversity is sparse, but the few that are here are from turkey, iran, peruvia, tunisia, some other places i may not know...



We made a whopping 22 euros for three shows busting on the konkrete, high energy breaking, yelling trying to get people hype. Tough living, street shows here not so good... forty said back in the day they made 6 Gs once. and it's never happened again. even here, the bboy scene has died out... the only prominenet crews are southside rockers...


forty's woman who lives w/ him is from phillipines, she doesn't speak tegalo, but she is fluent auf deutsch.

yesterday we ate chinese food and i had to speak chinese to the woman cuz she could not speak english. i kept spitting out german words..... and when i try to speak german, sometimes espanol words come out. everyone is somewhat impressed w/ my german... they say "perfecto" hahhahha . i'm funny with it though cuz i don't remember everything. but it comes back as i work on it w/ the locals.
